Wooden bay windows are very easy to fit window shutters onto, as the handles do not generally protrude past the frame, so you don’t need battens as the shutter frames can be screwed straight to the wooden window.
(If the handles do protrude, follow the instructions for UPVC bay windows.)
With bay windows, it is important that the window shutters line up with each other, all the frame heights should be the same and extra clearance (15mm) is allowed on bay windows to allow more adjustment to the height rather than the usual 10mm shadow gap.
