How to fit interior plantation shutters onto Sash Square bay windows

Easy reading

Sliding Sash Square bays are just a bigger version of the normal sliding sash window.  They are one of the easiest bays to fit interior plantation shutters onto as you can screw directly into the wide surrounding box frame.  There are generally no height restrictions making it very easy to line the shutter doors up with each other.

Sash windows can be split into several sections, a front window and two side windows or sometimes twin front windows.

Due to the small handles found on Sash windows no extra battens are required.  The shutter frames are normally fitted in between the surrounding decorative architrave.
