UPVC double glazed square bays are a bigger version of the normal double glazed windows, however you need to fit the colonial shutters around the corner. Square or rectangular bays are very easy to fit as there are no angles to deal with. Normally split into 3 sections, a front window and two side windows.
Some variations can be found, mainly with the number of sections at the front. It’s common to use Tposts to divide the number of shutter panels up to match the layout or several shutter frames.
Battens will be required to space the shutter frames away from the protruding handles. Once these are fitted around the window, fitting the colonial shutters is simple.
