It is also important to make sure you understand the difference between the recess and shutter size. Most customers enter their window sizes as ‘recess’ size and allow the website to automatically deduct the clearance around the shutter frame required to for the shadow gap. For bays or shaped windows the clearance is deducted by Sam and the customer prior to entering the sizes into the order form so ‘shutter’ size is selected.
Remember to convert any sizes taken in inches or centimetres into millimetres. There is measurement converter to help. If you are measuring in centimetres just add a ‘0’ on the end and if you are measuring in inches multiply by 25.4. It is always worth getting asking someone to double check your measurements before you order.
