Remote control shutters, a fantastic new option.
Easily controlled with a hand held remote control from the comfort of your sofa, and cuts down effort and time spent opening and closing louvers. The infra red battery operated control can be added to a cinema room’s automation devices.
Great for high windows, hallways, over stairs or for the elderly.
Fitted in the same simple way as our other shutter products.
Ordering:
Just select ‘Yes’ on the order form for ‘Remote Control’ and enter the number of remote shutter panels required in the box. This should match your folding requirements i.e. 2 left, 2 right will be 4 remote control shutter panels, as they are priced per shutter or section within it.

Remote
The battery operated motor turns a single central louvre blade, the louvre blades are all connected via the control rod so they will operate together. The remote control can be adjusted for sensitivity so that all the remote control shutters in one window or room will operate at once or one at a time.
If there are two or more windows in a room they can all be operated with one remote control, or from separate controls if you prefer.
The remote codes can be added to all-in-one remote handsets for cinema systems, so that you can have one control to operate all your systems in a room.
Extra remote controls can be ordered if required.
Side Stile Size
The remote control shutters come with 50mm wide side stiles (normally stiles are 40mm wide).
Motor
Each shutter has a separate motor and battery pack fitted into the back of the side stile.
Fitting
No extra fitting is required apart from removing the battery cover to fit the batteries.
Batteries
Each shutter requires 6 x AA (Not supplied)
Each remote requires 2 x AAA (Not supplied)
Batteries will generally last a year depending on use.

Sams tips
The cost of the remote option is based on the number of shutter panels, so to keep the cost down order less rather then more.
Ordering a horizontal dividing rail will double the cost of the remote option as they are priced per remote section not per shutter.
When fitting in high up or hard to reach windows fit the best batteries you can so they last as long as possible, or opt for the solar power option.
The remote control shutters can be gently operated manually by hand if required.
