Wooden interior shutters our experience in fitting

Sam trained and qualified as a cabinet maker.  He has an excellent eye for detail and wants to ensure that each job he does or is involved in is fitted to the best of his ability, and that of the fitters he works with.  From cabinet making Sam manufactured interior wooden shutters in his workshop, and has experimented with both different materials and techniques during the 11 years that www.opennshut.co.uk has traded.  Sam moved to purchasing his products through what he believes is one of the best sources in the world, based on his personal experience of wood and shutters. Sam has also fitted for a number of years, and continues to keep his hand in by fitting specialised windows on a regular basis.  The majority of the photos in our showroom are of windows Sam has personally fitted shutters onto.  This ensures that Sam is in touch with his products and keeps his skills up to date.  DIY customers also benefit from Sam’s skills as he shares tips and techniques to guide them through the measuring and fitting process.

Sam has personally trained all the fitters we work with.  All those selected have had experience of fitting blinds, shutters or other practical trades before working with www.opennshut.co.uk.  Sam has spent time with each, and has fitted a range of windows with them to ensure they are able to fit to a high standard prior to working alone.  The fitters also have ‘extra hands’ that they may use to help fit large windows, and each of these is trained or closely supervised during the fitting process.  Sam has also taken time to get to know each person as well as their work, as he prefers not to work with sales people but with fitters who will deliver a consistent and professional finish every time they fit.

Rob Miller has been working with www.opennshut.co.uk for over 5 years and is the main fitter covering London and the surrounding area.  There are a range of pictures in the showroom demonstrating the high standard of his work, and you can also view testimonials from customers for whom he has fitted.
