Guarantees for interior wood shutters

All our interior wood shutters are guaranteed for 1 year from the date of fitting.

Our Elite shutter is guaranteed for up to 8 panels hinged together of 550mm wide, or individual panels of up to 890mm, and a height of 3000mm.

If you purchase your products direct from your fitter then the guarantee is offered by your fitter.

We usually advise that you match the layout of your window, however, in some instances this means that the panels themselves may be outside the guaranteed specification.  We will only advise this where we are confident that the panels will be safe for use and will be robust enough to withstand use.  If this is the case we may ask you to confirm that you are happy for us to void the guarantee.

A number of things are done during the order, delivery and fitting process to make sure that no damage occurs.  However, if you experience some damage during the transit or fitting process we will replace the damaged parts free of charge.

Your fitter will work with you to agree the most suitable shutter for your room to ensure that they will remain in good condition for as long as possible.  For example we would usually recommend a plastic or standard shutter which has a plastic coating for a bathroom or kitchen where they are likely to need regular cleaning or there is likely to be moisture.  This will ensure that the items you choose are fit for purpose and last well.

All our products are robustly packaged to prevent damage during transit, with polystyrene at corner points, mdf boards on either side of the shutter panels, thick cardboard boxes and foam between control rods and louvers.  Your fitter will unpack your interior wood shutters in the window or working area to minimise any opportunity for damage to occur.

Most customers only open the actual shutter panels to clean their window, using the control rod to adjust the louvers and therefore light levels.  This also reduces general wear and tear which will help longevity.
