Timescales for fitted decorative shutters


The timescales for decorative shutters are listed below so that you will know what to expect at each step of the way. 

Survey Request

Your local fitter will usually respond to your survey request within 24 hours.  If they are unable to reach you by telephone they will usually continue to try but may also email you their details so you are able to call them.

Survey

Your survey will be booked with you by telephone or email, to be completed at the fitter’s earliest opportunity.  Lead times on surveys may vary depending on how busy the fitter is, what area they currently working in and your availability.  However, we aim to complete your survey at a convenient time as soon as possible after contact is made with you.

Your fitter will finalise your quote at your survey unless you have requested specialised items.  However, your fitter will still confirm your quote within 2 days of your survey.

Fitting

The fitter will indicate lead times for the products you purchase and book your fitting date during the survey.

The standard lead time on our decorative shutters is 6 weeks, so usually your fitting date will be 7 – 8 weeks after your survey.  Shaped items or custom colours can sometimes increase lead time but we aim to fit as soon as we are able following your survey.

However, if you require fitting to take place more quickly we can offer a range of solutions, although these may include an additional fast-track delivery charge.   This can mean that the lead time is reduced to 3 weeks and your fitting can be booked in as little as 3 – 4 weeks.
