Shutter control rods designs

'Click on the tabs above for further information and advice on adjusting your louvre blades'

The control rod is used to adjust and tilt the louvre blades within your shutter.

Centre Control Rod

Positioned centrally across the louvre blades, this is the most popular control rod option and makes adjusting the louvres very easy.

Off Set Control Rod

Generally used for triangular windows, the control rod is off set to allow the maximum number of louvres to be operated by the rod.

Hidden Control Rod

A great feature, the mechanism is hidden within the stile of the shutter.  Just grab a blade and tilt and all the other louvres will follow!

Curved Control Rods

If you have a curved window with a fan top, don't worry about adjusting louvres individually, use a curved control rod to move them all at once.

Remote Control

Perfect for hard to reach windows or just for showing off to your friends!

Centre or Hidden?

The most popular option is the centre control.

It's easy to use, robust, and looks in keeping with the shutters.

If you are looking for modern clean look and clear view through your shutters then go for the hidden tilt rod.

An amazing feature, as all the working parts are hidden from view, these look really great with 89mm louvres and large shutters.
