The louvre blades on a shutter are tilted by moving a central control rod up and down.
There is an option to hide this rod to give you a clear view through the louvre blades. Until now, this option consisted of a small metal connecting bar fitted behind the louvres so they could all be adjusted at once. This feature has now been upgraded across the shutter range with a totally hidden solution called the Silent Tilt Rod.
The Silent tilt mechanism is hidden within the actual side stile of the shutter so you can not see it all. This gives you a super clean look and stylish design when you hold any of the louvre blades and tilt them all of the other louvres tilt at the same time.
The option is still known as the hidden tilt rod and looks best with large 89mm louvre blades and large modern shutters.
