I’ve just been fitting shutters in Bosham, near Chichester. It was a great day to be by the sea as the sun was out and I was overlooking Bosham harbour.
The shutters I fitted were Standard Plus with large 89mm blades with the new hidden tilt rod option.
This is a great feature if you like a modern look and clean lines. The shutters were wide to match the window sections and the window in the utility room had a worktop up-stand running into the window. I thought I would share a few photos showing the hidden control option and cutouts in the shutter frames that fit over the worktop up-stand so you can see what is possible.
The shadow gap continues around the cut out to allow clearance for fitting and to ensure a consistent look.
The frame needs to be screwed together at the bottom as there is not enough room for a normal interlocking frame key.
These shutters in Bosham look stunning and provide the privacy with my customer required from being on the waterfront.
If you live near the sea or in Bosham and fancy some shutters you can request a survey from Sam.
