I’ve just added some photos of window shutters that have been fitted to a curved window in Surrey to the showroom plus some comments from the customer on our testimonials page.
You can find some close up photos and before and after shots of the windows in the showroom, plus some photos of the outside of the house.
Elite plus certified shutters were used for these windows, large 89mm louvres let in plenty of light and offered flexible privacy from the neighbours.
When the shutters are shaped, the frame is also shaped. Everything is assembled in the same way as a standard rectangular window, you can see the frame being put together below:
Take a look at the slideshow in the showroom to see how the centre set of panels are opened. They are fitted between two vertical Tposts that have been lined up with the curve of the window. This ensures the layout of the shutters matches the window design.
If you have a shaped window and you would like some advice, please email us some photos and rough sizes of the window.
