In our latest video on youtube you can see how tier on tier shutters are opened and closed.
Tiered shutters are split using a horizontal Tpost, this allows the top shutters to open independently from the bottom shutters. This top opening feature is great for privacy and getting extra light into your room.
The Tpost adds strength to the frame and ensures the shutters are easily aligned in the centre. There are magnets fitted to the top and bottoms of the shutters and on the Tpost, so when the panels are closed they are pulled tightly into the frame.
Both sets use panel feet between the shutter and frame, these feet help support the panels when closed and maintain an even clearance gap at all times. Panel feet look like large drawing pins fitted to the underneath of each shutter.
Here you can see some close-up shots of the shutters being opened and the horizontal Tpost that fits between the tiers.
